And more importantly, a Trail Raptor T-shirt?!?!  Anything involving a Raptor is immediately awesome.  Seriously, do you remember Jurassic Park?  The raptors were so smart, opening doors, running fast… (and inherently scary for a 12 year old, but I digress.)   But you don’t have to take my word for it – since someone else obviously agrees with me: 5 Reasons Raptors are the Coolest Jurassic Park Dinosaurs

The part that might not be as awesome?  The course includes a 700′ and 1700′ Climb… but who doesn’t love a challenge, right? I’ll be running this race to try my hand at trail racing and to have fun, so no pressure for time etc – this one will truly be just to enjoy the day & the experience. Besides, it’s not like I’ll have a Raptor chasing me down…  …or will I?
